Tinemaha Reservoir goodies

Sighting

On 9 Dec at Tinemaha Reservoir there were: 1 Spotted Sandpiper (only the 2nd Dec record), 1 adult Herring Gull (the 6th record this fall & the 24th total for the county), 2 Great Egrets (rare in winter), 3 American White Pelicans (rare to casual in Dec), and 23 Tundra Swans (the large numbers are finally here!)including 17 immatures indicating a successful breeding season.
