Rose-breasted Grosbeak 11/09/03 (and for the next 10 days) in my back yard feeder and adjacent cedar trees.

Observers: Nicole Schober
Email: nschober@msn.com
Remote Name: 65.138.135.87
Date: 12/17/2003
Time: 08:41:25 AM

He is in non-breeding color display and may well be a cross with a Black-headed Grosbeak as the top bill is dark with small yellow side stripes. The lower bill is pale with orangish tints. He also has a distinctive gold and speckled "collar" running though the very bright rose breast patch. However, he also has the distinctive rose coloring on his upper under wings.
