Just returned from Tinemaha Reservoir and we had 1 Sabine's Gull, 20 Common Terns, 1 Ruddy Turnstone (5) records and 2 Mountain Plovers (17 records) . Jon Dunn found the Gull, Terns and Plovers and came and got us and when we got there the gull was gone but the Ruddy was found by one of his group. Jon will be in the area for the next two days so stay tuned as he is a magnet for great birds. We are covering Haiwee and Owens Lake tomorrow and he is doing the Deep Springs and Fish Lake Valley loop and will post on our return in the afternoon if we have anything worthy.
