Myrtle Warblers , Merlin - Owen's Lake

on the 25th, I had two male myrtle warblers feeding in a horse stable just north of Keeler on the east shore of the lakebed. eating flies, not oats. then today, the 27th, a Merlin pumped over my head heading north out on the lakebed. heads up plovers! this bird was less than 30 feet up. quite a late bird.
