On my way back to L.A. today, I stopped at the Rest Stop at Coso Junction in extreme Southern Inyo County for a 45 minute picnic. The sprinklers were "bubbling" and at 1 sprinkler by my table I had the following birds: Lazuli Bunting, Western Tanager, Townsend's Warbler, Swainson's Thrush, House Finch, House Sparrow, Raven, European Starling, Wilson's Warbler, Nashville, Warbler. This place is an excellent migrant/vagrant trap in spring!
