Night Hawk  and Green Heron @ Bishop creek canal

The first Night Hawk I've seen this year was out over the canal last night. It looked like a Lesser with the white wing bar out towards the tip of the wing and a fairly light, buffy underbody. The Heron was sitting atop a little dead snag above the sage brush this morning, also at the bcc.
