While up Pine Creek today, at the pack station, we spied a male rose-breasted grosbeak in a cottonwood with other black-headed grosbeaks. Bonnie told me she had two male rose-breasted grosbeaks in her binoculars at once. I could never catch up the the second one. They were moving around the pack station in the cottonwoods and up the trail a short distance near the rushing river. Good-luck!
