One handsome male Bobo on a hay field east of Independence. We almost overlooked him since he was mixed with 7-8 Blue Grosbeaks. It's been a great migration, but the large numbers of Tanagers, Black-Headed Grosbeaks, Kingbirds, and Lazuli Buntings that we were seeing just one week ago have now moved on. Further, in an hour's walk this evening, we saw not one swift or swallow.
