Rosie Beach and we were at the ponds and ran into John right after he had the bird. We went to the area and searched all the blackbirds and found nothing like the bird he had seen. They can more around so we encourage others to try to find it. There are 10 records for the county, all from Tecopa, Scotty's Castle, Furnace Creek Ranch and Saline Valley all in Death Valley National Park. There are only 3 records from Jun (1st, 6th, and 13th). This is an exceptional sighting that will require unequivical documentation.
