Common Tern at Mono Lake

From: Chris Howard and Rosie Beach
Date: 10/8/01
Time: 3:06:16 PM
Remote Name: 209.209.67.217

Comments

A sub-adult plumaged Common Tern was flying around the Rush Creek Delta yesterday afternoon (10/7/01). Marks we saw to differentiate from other /sterna/ terns included dark a carpal bar and dark primaries. This is the same location the high count for the Mono Basin was: 6.
