Nik & Nik ponds had my first of fall Dunlin on the long, skinny island this morning before work. Also, at lunch at the Bishop Park, there were 30 Audubon's Warblers feeding in the grass beneath the cyprus trees in the SE corner...a Red-breasted sapsucker hammered away in the cyprus joined by a Mountain Chickadee and a Dark-eyed (Oregon) Junco, all first of falls for me in the Owens Valley. It's good to have the Ruby-crowned Kinglets back, too. Tis the season!
