On Friday, 2 November, Jon found a juvenile Thayer's Gull at the northwest arm of Crowley Reservoir, and a few Surf Scoters viewed from the Marina. On Saturday a White-winged Scoter joined the Surf Scoters far out from the marina. Three first winter Herring Gulls were also at various locations around the lake. The juvenile Thayer's Gull had moved to the Delta area on Saturday.
