Description

Today Bob found a Surf Scoter at the flood pond to the east of the mainline road between roads 5 and 4. At the same location but on the far east shore was a rare for this date Long-billed Curlew. At Cartago we saw a flock of 200+ Green-winged Teal swerving and banking low over the water like shorebirds. It was the first time Bob, Lee or I had seen this amazing sight.
