Description

VG was skimming over the water of the second from east SE pond. White rump markings went up to almost meet on the upper rump. Mantel and upper sides of wings were dark green to viloet depending on the angle. The latest sighting for this species is mid November according to the Heindel's bird graphs. Also heard a sora call in the reeds.
