On 29 Oct an immature male Broad-billed Hummingbird appeared at a feeder in Big Pine. The red lower mandible, green & blue gorget feathers, and steel blue notched tail clinched its identification. This is the second record for Inyo; first was 12-14 Oct 1992 at Lone Pine Campground by Marge Irwin
