Brown Thrasher in Rocking K areaObservers: Ferrells SightingWe saw this bird in a willow thicket near the house for several minutes. The bright rusty red color on the back, heavily streaked breast, dark wing bars, yellow eyes and long tail were distinctive. The bill was fairly long and sharp. This was a new bird for all of us.
