another Winter Wren -- this time in Nine Mile

Sighting

Another Winter Wren. Amazing! This time I was hiking in Nine Mile Canyon. 23 species of birds and 11 flowering plant species including sand verbena, bush lupine, penstemon. Also, another wrecked car at the bottom of the canyon. This makes at least 8. Yep, someone went over the edge this summer. A good reminder to keep the car in good working order and don't drive too fast on those narrow winding canyon roads.
