red -shouldered hawk ,white -throated sparrow in yard at Big Pine

Sighting

Wet red-shouldered hawk hunkered in the top of back-yard cottonwood tree above chicken coop.Finally flew and had the distinctive quick choppy wing beats.Also white-throated sparrow hanging out foraging with spotted towhees and juncos.
