Sighting

Today at lunch, 2 Nov, there were several flocks of many hundreds of Horned Larks in the Sunland agriculture fields south of Bishop. The fields to the west of Sunland seemed to have the most, and the fields on either side of Sunland Indian Reservation Rd. Also of note were an adult and an immature Ferruginous Hawk. We didn't have a scope with us to check for longspurs, but we many try again. Lots of birds!
