Great Horned Owl, American Goldfinches and a possible Black Throated Gray Warbler

Sighting

Today, on the backside of Longview, Sunrise and Sunset along the pasture fence line, a handful of American Goldfinches. Along the E.Indian Creek Ditch, in the large grouping of Cottonwoods, a Great Horned Owl hugging the side of a Cottonwood, about 10 feet up. And walking back along the creek, a black and white colored warbler, feeding on the sides of the trunks of the locust trees. I could not see any color on this bird. Dark blackish above, with a white breast striped with black. Two white wing bars, and a long white stripe behind the eye. The yellow eye spot was not seen, but it was diffinately a warbler of some kind. This is a great spot to bird: Black Phoebe's, N. Harrier's, Red-tailed hawks, and lots of quail. Also spotted a dove that I could not identify. Larger and lighter than a Mourning Dove, it had a wedge shaped tail that had a faint white band on the end.
