eurasian wigeon, surf scoters, le conte thrasher mammoth lakes and eastern sierra

Sighting

driving up to mammoth several days ago saw and heard 3 le conte thrashers at Pearsonville on north and east side of agriculture field east of gas station, MANY other common birds in field 2 female surf scoters at little lake with a zillion coots thanks to Ken Wells, mammoth local, who sent us up to twin lakes to see the eurasian wigeon thats been there for awhile, bird is on west side of west lake along with LOTS of other common species of ducks steve brad stevebrad1@earthlink.net
