mountain plover crowley lake

Sighting

saw a mopl 500 yards or so north of the southern tip of western most arm at crowley lake this am, adult, bird was 30 to 50 yards away.....white belly peachy brest, scaloped brownish back, bold supercillium, grayish legs if your driving southbound down the dirt rode towards the tip there is a short dirt road that goes down {west} to the lake, thats the location,........friendly bird steve brad stevebrad1@earthlink.net ps the lake is very birdy sb
