Sighting

On 19 Feb, 17 Tundra Swans were at Tinemaha Reservoir and 1 Sage Thrasher was on Steward Lane, southeast of Big Pine. This is the first Sage Thrasher for us this spring. A number of species that have been seen regularly to last week were not seen (Hooded & Common Mergs, Bald Eagles, and various raptors) but the Great Blue Herons have return to the Big Pine rookery and they were not there last week.
