Sighting

Had birds singing east of the river south of Manzanar Reward Rd. and on the eastern end of Stewart Ln. in Big Pine. To me the song is the same melody that Western Meadowlark gives, but not the clear whistle as in a WEME rather a scratchy voice. These are FOS for singing birds for me. Finally spring is a coming!
