Sighting

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher in Birchim Canyon @ 10am Saturday. Different from Black-tailed in that it’s under tail was nearly all white, the eye-ring was very prominent, was solitary and found among kinglets and bushtits. 15 Species in all: Violet-green Swallow, Hermit Thrush, American Kestrel, Canyon & Bewick’s Wrens, Bushtits, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Harry Woodpecker, Great Blue Herons, Raven, Turkey Vulture, Sparrow, House Finch, Mallard.
