Western Kingbird & Wilson's Warbler on Riverside Rd. today Bishop

Observers: D.Parker
Email: j.parkeratcebridge.net
Date: 04/01/2008
Time: 04:31 PM -0500

First the male Wilson's warbler was taking a bath on the edge of the creek showing its black beret and otherwise yellow with greenish/yellow wings and then up in the tree overhead a Western Kingbird sat regally probably watching the Painted Lady migration going on below in the fiddleneck patch. The WIWA gave its distinctive call note. A Lincoln's Sparrow was nearby also & maybe a Chipping Sp. BVD.
