Thursday evening walked Birchim Canyon to upper end of reservoir and back. At dusk on a pole in the employee housing an adult Osprey sitting on crossarm, raccoon face giving its strange shrill call. First of spring for me. Also female Common Goldeneye where river enters the reservoir, brown head, grey body, mostly dark bill.
