Possible Brown Rosy Finch in Aspendell

Observers: Sharon Ford
Email: sharef@pacbell.net
Date: 04/13/2008
Time: 04:34 PM -0400

This morning I observed another Brown Rosy Finch feeding with the flock of Gray Crowned Rosy Finches. This is a different individual that I reported a few days ago. The color of this bird is a drabby, lighter brown than the Gray Crowns. It shows no gray on the hindcrown and very slight change in color on the sides of its head. It's not displaying any pink and could be a young bird.
