Golden-crowned Sparrow in Birchim Canyon

Observers: Ted & Paula Williams
Email: ted@usamedia.tv
Date: 04/26/2008
Time: 10:37 PM -0400

Saw the G-CS in Birchim Canyon Saturday morning. This is my first. The gold crown between the black on its head was striking. Also saw the yearly return of a Black-headed Grosbeak pair to the yard (nearly the same date); and many Black-throated Sparrows in Mazourka canyon. The flowers in Mazourka canyon are spectacular right now.
