Solitary Sandpiper at Greengate Cottonwoods

Sighting

Just before noon today it flew up the stream at the cottonwoods and landed. After about 10 minutes it flew out toward the Owens River. The prominent white eyering was clearly visible along with dark plumage with numerous small white spots. It had a dark breast and unmarked white undersides. Lots of Wilson's Warblers were in the trees.
