4-5 Common loons, 8-10 eared grebes sporting breeding plumage along with the loons, 25 double-crested cormorants (displaying the reason for their name beautifully), osprey successfully fishing and then riding the thermals out of the gorge, barn-cliff-violet/green swallows, white-throated swift, rock wren, canyon wren, common merganzer with males still present, flock of yellow-rumped warblers and Fish and Game stocking the reservoir. The usual resident birds were there, too.
