Since Saturday, we;ve been seeing an increasing number of Lazuli Buntings, Western Tanagers, Bullock's Orioles and Blue Grosbeaks in the riparian woodland west of Elm/Pine St. Schools. Also of note were a half dozen Black-billed Magpies sounding off wildly. Upon closer inspection, they were harassing a Black-tailed Weasel invading a Magpie nest. Also, on Saturday there were ~20 Black Terns, ~20 Bonapartes Gulls, and a Franklin's Gull at the Bishop Sewer ponds. I don't know if they are still there or not.
