A female Townsend's Warbler was present at the Blackburnian tree. Also, a male phainopepla was seen in the same tree that a female was seen approximately a week ago during the Audubon field trip. The question came up then, "are they nesting"? Now that a male and a female have both been seen approximately one week apart and in the same location, it seems more of a possibility that nesting might occur.
