An probably breeding adult male Least Bittern was seen yesterday, Monday, at the northwest corner of Tinemeha Reservoir as was a White-faced Ibis, not often seen at this time of year. Seven species of shorebirds reflect that it really is fall on their calendar as they are heading south and won't return until next spring. All of these birds are adults as the juveniles are still on the breeding grounds.
