Recently we've made 4 trips into this Cyn to watch the birds come into the spring seep to drink. 3-4 Golden-crown sparrows were seen yesterday, with 4 seen Dec. 29th. Drive into cyn (medium to high clearance vehicle a good idea), park car at end of road and walk about an hour up the canyon to the left. Go past the water flowing in creek, following willows up until you get to a seep. Stand very still and birds come out to drink, including juncos,mt. chickadees and golden-crowned sparrows. We've hauled our scope in for really good views.
