This morning (3/12) I watched two flocks totaling around 800-1000 pelicans over Bishop. This is the first really big group I've seen this year.
Also, as a sidenote, Rosie and I saw 14 Ross' Geese in Round Valley yesterday in a field just north of Round Valley Rd and west of the old 395 road. None of the geese had a neckband, like the individual in the flock at the BSP last week.
