At 5:20p.m. Monday, March 26, ten White Faced Ibis were flying low over the intersection of Hwy.6 and Dixon Lane. They were flying in southeasterly direction. I was driving when I saw them approaching from the northwest. I stopped the car and got out when they were overhead. I didn't have binoculars and I was concious of the fact that they could be double crested cormorants because I thought it was a little early for Ibis. I saw long curved bills, light facial markings around the eyes, and long necks. From the Heindel's graphs I realize that the early date is 9 April so keep your eyes peeled.
