At 1PM today, 5 Cattle Egrets flew over our house in Meadowcreek. The tight flock was flying away from me at 50 yards or so. They were compact Egrets with wings less slender than Snowy and body a bit bulkier body. The legs did not extend much past the tail. Never saw their bills or get leg color. This is our first for the year.
