This morning at 7am, while running along the canal from 395 to Dixon, two hundred yards south of Dixon, we saw an Osprey in a small tree just east of the canal. He had a fish which he was quite engrossed in eating and hardly noticed us.
Also, he was spreading his wings in the manner of cormorants.
Just prior to this, we saw 8 deer.
