A lone Willet was found among the foraging American Avocets just north of Dirty Socks Seep this evening (Tuesday 29 May). Two pairs of (nesting?) Wilson's Phalaropes are still present in the marsh below the pond. Dirty Socks is just off Hwy. 190 west of Olancha at the south end of Owens Lake.
