Haven't seen yellow-headed flocks yet, but for the last 4 days we've had around 75 cliff swallows in the tall native willow behind our house, most of which are yellow-gaped juveniles. They are very loud and seem to be doing practice flights, circling around the tree and then coming back to the willow branches and resting, then, taking off immediately again. This might be the colony that nested under Dixon Bridge near Meadowcreek, not sure. It seems this colony had a good nesting season, as some years they get disturbed by kids etc.
