On July 2nd at 2pm and later at 4pm I observed an adult breeding plumaged arctic tern feeding with Forster's tern close to shore. It was along the southeast side. Also present near the mouth of the Owen's River was a common loon, marbled godwit, and up to 50 black terns. The loon and godwit were still present today but I did not see the artic tern again but it still may be present with the flock of about 30 Forster's tern. Today another common loon was at the dam.
