Whimbrel at Crowley Lake

From the afternoon of 7/15 to this morning, 7/18, a whimbrel was present at the mouth of the Owens River where it enters Crowley Lake. It is best observed from the west side of the mouth with access from the Benton Crossing Road. A lesser yellowlegs was present on 7/17 at the end of the NW arm of Crowley Lake.
