Yesterday,we walked up Pine Creek Rd from Rovana about 2-3 miles to big bend in road. With the creek rushing it was pleasantly cool and had 10 singing western-wood peewees and 40 white-throated swifts. At the big bend, on north side of road, the buffalo berries are out, birds feeding here like orange-crowned and yellow warbler, western tanager, ash-throated fly and possible bunting which was heard only briefly. This seems a "birdie" place and needs more checking.
