In a morning of birding at Crowley Lake we saw 55 species. We saw 8 species of duck, including a common merganser and ring-necked duck. On the east side of the lake there were 7 semi-palmated plovers, a marbled godwit, a pair of Bonaparte's gulls, and 25 Forster's terns together with dozens of phalaropes, both yellowlegs, 4 species of grebes, dozens of killdeer and gulls. There was also one common loon seen from the east side.
