Today, 15 Sept., Mike and I had a Whimbrel at the Sulfate Well ( which is 3 miles, not 2, from the highway, sorry) and a Snowy Plover at Cottonwood amongst hundreds of Leasts. Zed from PRBO reported an adult Sabine's Gull at the area west of the Sulfate Well and a Peregrine at Dirty Socks. The water trucks are active at the construction sites on the lake on the week-ends, so be on the lookout, some of the roads are narrow.
