Furnace Creek was very hot (105-110) and full of birds, especially yellow and orange-crowned warblers. The Northern Waterthrush still present at the pond at golf pro shop,Western Tanager and Eastern Kingbird, Vermillion Flycatcher, Yellow-breasted Chat and Common Moorhen in other areas.Lots of birds everywhere. Scotty's Castle had fewer birds but was more pleasant temperature wise.
