Description

On today's Baker Creek Class Field Trip, we saw what we initially id'ed as a classic male Townsend's Warbler. (There were several.) On second take, however, we noticed this bird had no yellow below the black bib and down along the flank. Instead the base color of the flanks, breast and belly was white (like a Hermit). Interestingly, it still had black flank streaks like a typical Townsend's should.

Baker is hopping right now. Good stuff.
