Description

Before the thunderstorms scared us (I mean me-Chris) away, we observed at least 2 Williamson's Sapsuckers about a half-mile along the trail to Cottonwood Lakes this afternoon (6/2). Beautiful birds.

We also got a quick look at a Greater Roadrunner crossing Horseshoe Meadows Road about a quarter mile before Lubken Canyon Road; near the last solitary tree on the western side of the road and a dry wash. It looked to be carrying a lizard in its bill.
