I was visiting your area last week (from Philadelphia, PA area) and saw chickadees without the eyebrow stripe at Mosquito Flat area (Rock Creek Lake Rd). Can anyone comment on whether these are simply Mountain chickadees with an indistinct stripe or are there also Black-capped up there? Call notes were three part: dee-dee-oh, not like Black-capped here (usually two part--dee-oh).
